I try and throw a few personal posts into my blog here and their just for fun! Last weekend, we celebrated my youngest daughter Grace’s 2nd Birthday (wow…time flies- sniff,sniff) so we headed down south to Disneyland for the day; my husband and both my daughters and I of course. A day at Disneyland is always fun but the more exciting part for me, was the next day- the actual day of Grace’s birthday (2/15) when we headed to Santa Monica Pier to spend the day with friends and just celebrate life and my babies birthday! We had to fit a photoshoot into the day while their with an amazing friend and fellow photographer Leila Jones and her husband a film producer had to film the shoot for us also (Thanks Trevor). It was a magical day! Here are a few of the portraits I took that perfect day of Faith (age 6) and Grace (age 2) in Santa Monica, California.

First of all, I have to state the obvious in the portraits…Philina is beautiful and is sporting the most perfect baby bump I have ever seen. Especially the fact that twins are growing inside makes it even more amazing! I had to share a few of my favorite images from her maternity session taken a couple of weeks ago.

Now I can’t wait for these little guys to arrive so we can photograph the little newborn brothers…coming soon!

A few weeks ago, I got to photograph the sweetest little guy. Little D is adorable and his eyes and facial expressions captivated me! His parents were so adorable and smitten by him too. Such a joy to work with them and get to know their family. Here are a couple cute portraits I got of this sweet little man…

We are just a few days away from Christmas. It has been another wonderful year for my family as well as my business. I am excited to end the year on a high note after photographing so many beautiful and fun families this holiday season as well as all of 2009. I am also eager to start of 2010 with a NEW revamped exciting website to be released to you all very soon as well several portrait sessions the month of January and February and 2010 will be my first year of photographing weddings. Yes, I am going to take the leap to now shoot a limited number of amazing weddings this next Spring and Summer along with my portrait work so the year is looking to be exciting and thrilling for me and Melinda Bunker Photography! I have so many new and exciting things to blog about with my business for the coming year so please check back soon and often to stay up to date on everything!
