Melinda Bunker Photography

I got the chance to photograph the super crazy fun wedding last weekend of Kawai & Matt in Portola Valley, California and the Pulgas Water Temple. It was a hot sunny day perfectly fitting for what these two had plan for their reception…a “wipeout/outdoor sport play theme” and it was amazing! The guests had a blast as did the couple of course and it was pure joy getting to capture their special day for them! Here is a slideshow of some of my images I took from the day. The Wedding of Kaitlyn and Bodey was beautiful, fun and fabulous and as Kaitlyn always says… “You can’t fight fabulous!” and you really can’t with these two amazing people. I had such fun photographing their wedding and will blog the still images next but had to share this slideshow first of some of my favorites images from the perfect day!

I got to spend two amazing days up in the city (SF,CA) a couple of weeks ago learning lighting techniques from one of the most amazing lighting experts in the photography industry; Bob Davis! It was an amazing workshop with lots of hands on learning and also a day of listening to the sweetest and beautiful (inside and out!) women; Dawn Davis, Bob’s wife speak about business and marketing and…life! It was inspiring, moving and I learned SO much! I got challenged and am now challenging myself to be a better photographer thanks to this wonderful workshop! Now, here are some of the pictures I get to share with you that I took while we set out on a bus in SF, California finding the most stunning spots to photograph these two beautiful models. Thanks to Crystelle & Steve for your hard work! The people I got to know at the workshop were so great and spending time with Bob and Dawn is a true gift!

I met these two adorable people a few months ago. I have been so fortunate to get to hear all of the exciting details of their upcoming wedding (next Summer-woot!) from the moment Bodey bought the ring and was preparing to pop the question to the lovely Kaitlyn! I am so thrilled to get to know them both and their story so far and this love story is just beginning…
